This pair of standard 6-sided dice is carved by magic from a dragon's bone. They can be used as normal dice without consequences but, if the owner says the command word and asks a viable question as they are tossed, they cast an augury spell. The answer is given only by the results of the dice, from snake eyes representing extreme woe to double sixes meaning very good fortune. The more extreme each individual die is, the more weal or woe is indicated. So, if one die is a 1 and the other a 6, great danger is indicated but also great potential fortune. A result of 3 and 4 usually indicates there is nothing the augury could glean.
The dice can only perform an augury once per day, recharging at dawn; however, if used within the hours between midnight and dawn, they will not recharge until the dawn after this closest dawn.
Notes: being rolling them until every combination of results has occurred without anyone else touching them., divination
What a fun idea. I'm gonna give them to my players and see what happens :)
