This lattice of fine hollow tubes attached to a white mana battery is worn across the body under the clothes. It allows the wearer to resist and expunge the deleterious effects of coming into close injurious contact with Phyrexian operatives.
When struck by an attack roll, the wearer may use a Reaction to depress a plunger in their palm and release a flood of White Mana into their system in order to counteract the Black Mana pathogens of Phyrexian Oil. Doing so consumes one charge on the APEx unit.
This causes the wearer to benefit from the effects of a Greater Restoration spell, but also to take Radiant damage equal to xd4 + x, where x is the number of times the suit has been activated that day. The wearer must then make a Constitution saving throw with a DC = 10 + the number of times the suit has been activated that day. Failure gives them a level of exhaustion for each time the suit has been activated that day
Phyrexian oil bonds to a system quickly and removing its influence involves destroying the infected tissue with a blast of White Mana. Not many people can withstand Phyrexian infection, much less the chemotherapy required to rid their bodies of it.
The APEx unit has five charges, and recharges 1d4+1 charges daily. When the last charge is expended, roll a d20. On a 1 the unit overloads, and is destroyed.
