This Hand Crossbow is invisible to everyone, except the wearer. Creatures, other than the wearer, can only detect it by use of divination magic, truesight, or if the wearer wants you to see it. This crossbow is attached to a bracer that has a leather wrap covering the palm of the hand with a trigger within the wrap. This leaves the wearers hands free, and allows the Hand Crossbow to shoot bolts without much effort. As a result, shooting a bolt with this Hand Crossbow requires a bonus action instead of an action. Reloading the Hand Crossbow still requires an action.
The Hand Crossbow is invisible, except to the wearer. When the hand Crossbow is cocked and ready to fire, the shape off the Crossbow together with the cocked string resembles an eye, with the bolt looking like a vertical eyepupil. It's made of chestnut wood. The bracer is made of red leather, consisting of square patches of varying structure, and doesn't seem very special.
Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
