The Aggeli is a palm-sized, hexagonal crystal with two gold caps at the end, and an antenna on top. Visible copper and silver traces run over the caps and through the crystalline structure, suggesting the crystal grew artificially around the metal. On the larger top cap is a small gem, and its colour dictates the colour of the Aggeli's crystal.
A "casting" Aggeli can cast the Sending spell twice at the expense of one charge, and as long as it is paired to another, receiving, Aggeli. Speak into the casting Aggeli to be heard on the receiving end.
In order for two Aggeli to work, they must be held together and paired over the course of an hour with an Arcana check (DC 15). On a fail, the item loses any charges and you may retry after 12 hours. Upon successfully pairing two Aggeli, you may choose which will be the receiver and which the caster.
Only a casting Aggeli can use the Sending spell. When in use, the other will pass on the words out loud, and a receiving-end user may reply much like an ordinary Sending spell as long as the receiving Aggeli is on their person. Important: The plural of "Aggeli", is "Aggeli".
