Weapon (javelin), legendary (requires attunement)

The Abyssal Harpoon is a wicked instrument used by a band of Planer marauders. Very few Abyssal Harpoons have been left on the material plane. The Harpoon's shaft is made of Obsidian and Adamant and is tipped with a wicked barbed head made of chitin of a demonic insect from deep within the depths of the Abyss.

When a Character who is attuned to this weapon hits with a ranged attack with this weapon the target must make a dc 15 strength saving throw or be pulled 10 feet closer to the the target.

If a creature is subjected to a critical hit from this weapon they take a d6 of damage each round till they receive magical healing. this effect is cumulative as it leaves gaping jagged wounds.
