The seeds of Orcus are usually found in a small box or pouch containing 5d4 small black pellets. When one of these "seeds" is placed in a corpse or against the skull of an intact skeleton, it rises as either a zombie or skeleton in 1d6 x 10 minutes. The risen creature has all the normal abilities of their type of undead, except that it will be under the control of the one who planted the seed for 24 hours only, after that time it becomes a normal undead creature and will remain so until destroyed.
