An Amulet made of a strange transparent metal. At a glance it appears to be made of glass, but close inspection reveals it to far too durable and flexible to be glass. A large hexagonal gem invisible to the eye, approximately 3 inches long makes up the centerpiece, encased in a cage of thin gold along the edges. As an Awakener imbues the amulet with Breath, a greenish blue smoke appears to move throughout the inside of the Gem before dissipating. As the amulet obtains Heightenings of its own, it begins to become more visible and less invisible.
Stealth Awakening: An Awakener can imbue the amulet with Breath much like any organic material. However a wearer who is attuned to this amulet may use the Breath stored within it as if that Breath was their own, without needing to take in the Breath into themselves. Thus a wearer would be able to register as being of no Heightening while still Awakening items. The amulet currently has 10 Breath.
Innate Awakening: Breath costs of any Awakening cost half as much Breath while using the amulet to channel Breath.
Immortal Breath: An Awakener who stores an amount of Breath equivalent to the third heightening into the amulet stores part of their soul into the amulet. As long as any of that Breath remains, that individual can influence future wearers of the amulet as described below.
*Cursed*: Once attuned, the amulet will absorb 1 Breath/day from its wearer. The wearer cannot withdraw the Breath from the amulet back to themselves, although they can still channel Breath from the amulet into the world and back again. If a soul is stored into the amulet, that soul can temporarily control the attuned wearer when the wearer dreams. If the wearer is below the First Heightening, then the soul can control them when the wearer is deep in thought. Should the wearer have 0 Breath, the soul within the amulet will posses the body until the amulet is removed.
