An inhaler that helps with asthma attacks.
Asthma can be caused by allergens and/or irritants, which can give the character a disadvantage on saving throws against gaseous effects.
Asthma would also force the character to make a constitution saving throw when in dusty, smoky, moldy, or otherwise heavily irritant-filled rooms/locations. The locations can cause the character to have disadvantage on all ability checks until they succeed on their constitution save.
Medication can give the character advantage on the constitution saving throw to prevent or end the effect.
However, if the character goes five rounds without saving from the effect it ends, and they are then given one level of exhaustion.
