Weapon (antimatter rifle), very rare (requires attunement by a martial class)

This gun appears to be an elongated musket made entirely of sleek black steel with a light green ethereal screen floating above the back of the barrel. This firearm launches small bolts of green energy. When attuned, this firearm allows the user to see through solid walls when looking through the screen, ignoring full and partial cover. Everything seen through the screen is in indistinct shades of green. When firing through a solid a solid structure the damage is reduced by 1d4 per foot of material shot through to a minimum of 0d4 if there is less than a foot of material. If there is a creature directly behind the original target, that creature takes the same damage as the initial target minus 1d4 per creature shot through.

This rifle holds 6 rounds.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
