An heirloom of the Vashna family, granted to Aeran Vashna when she decided to leave the Feywild to explore the material plane. It is twinned to another moonblade, wielded by Elrolis.
The blade possesses a mild sentience, and used to communicate by transmitting emotions, sending a tingling sensation through the wielders hand. Since the loss of Elrolis and his blade, this sentience has been largely quiet, matching its wielders sense of mourning.
A line of 6 runes appear magically carved into the blade, near the hilt. These runes had been dark for fifty years, but upon arriving in Avernus, three of these runes began to glow lightly, as if in response to the dire circumumstances.
This weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls.
This weapon acts as a Ring of Spell Storing.
Guardian. The item transmits warnings to its bearer, granting a +2 bonus to initiative if the bearer isn’t incapacitated.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
