Arcane Orb

This orb etched in runes faintly glow a dim blue light and shows, under detect magic spell, magic coming from it is all schools of magic. 

While holding the orb, you can attempt to cast a spell with it. 

Choose one spell of a level you can cast from any spell list, including yours, then make a intelligence check(Arcana) with a DC equal to 10+ spell level.

Ona success, you cast the spell and can’t use this orb untell next dawn. 

On a failure, you take 1d6 force damage per spell level. This can’t be reduced or prevented in any way
