This helm grants immunity to thunder damage and the deafened condition. While the helm is equipped, you are rendered mute. You cannot speak or vocalize, including for the verbal components of spellcasting.

The helm has 4 charges. While wearing it, you can use an action and expend 1 charge to cast the thunderwave spell (2nd level) from it, or 2 charges to cast the shatter spell (3rd level) from it. Spells cast from the helm do not require verbal or material components. The helm regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn.
