An ornate, mechanical amulet that seems to open and close, like an iris, and has strange astronomical drawings. The amulet can be opened to unfold into a small sextant. The crystal lenses of the amulet hum with an almost unperceivable arcane aura that beckons into the void of the night. It is said that a previous owner of the amulet drunkenly gazed through the amulet, into the deepest and darkest part of the night sky and communed with something "beyond", and was never the same after.
While attuned to the amulet you gain proficiency in Navigator's Tools and gain advantage on check while traveling to avoid getting lost.
While attuned to the amulet, once per evening, on any night that a star is visible, you can cast Find the Path without material components. You maintain concentration on the spell by gazing through the unfolded sextant, and can only maintain the spell so long as you maintain line of sight with a star in the night sky.
Once per moon cycle, on a night of the New Moon, the you may cast Commune once by looking through the amulet at a star or constellation. Every divine being is represented by a star or constellation, and you may contact any of them that are visible. The god's name or reality are not shared or known instinctively by the wearer, so caution and research are wise.
