Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a Creature of Any Alignment )

This necklace has a skull etched on it and it is said to represent undeath and all that's putrid.  Legend says that it was created as an experiment by the Lich God Vecna and that it was an atempt to mimic the Talisman of Ultimate Evil.  The necklace has a consciousness of it's own and it can speak to whoever uses it. Vecna considered the necklace a failure since it doesn't have any evil intent.

Any creature that uses the necklace will start to slowly turn into an undead being but will keep sane. The necklace transformation is slow and it can take time to occur and the final transformation can be compared to that one of a young Lich. However, the necklace won't reveal its true nature and will be just a normal piece of jewelry if the wearer is using another sentient item.

The wearer will slowly turn undead, it's skin will grow pale and it's heart will beat less and less, until it reaches a state of complete undeathness. If the necklace is destroyed, the wearer will instantly die if the transformation has been completed.

The necklace has 9 charges that rechard at a rate of 1d4 every dawn.

Spells: You can use one action to expend one or more of the necklace's charges to cast the following spells from it, using your spell save DC:animate dead (3 charges), blight (4 charges), blindness/deafness (2 charges), true resurrection (9 charges). If the wearer chooses to use the True Resurrection spell with the necklace, it has to make a DC 20 wisdom saving throw or the necklace will shatter and will break.

Golem Form: As an action on your turn, you can toss the necklace to the ground and speak it's activating words, which can be any incantation that you agree with it, and it'll turn into a Flesh Golem that uses the skull etching as it's core. If the golem dies, the necklace turns back to normal and falls to the ground.
