The Arrow of Complete Annihilation is a specially manufactured arrow, fired from a specialized ballista. A heavily engineered steel arrow, whose arrowhead pushes a portable hole into a bag of holding when primed and fired, creating a portal to the astral plane. This arrow essentially creates a black hole on contact, vaporizing anything within 10 meters, and attempting to suck in anything between ten meters and 50 meters for 2d20 days. Due to its heavy nature and extreme risk factor, safety training is usually a requirement for legal use of an Arrow of Complete Annihilation, though is not necessary to be trained to fire one. When attempting to fire an Arrow of Complete Annihilation without the proper training, roll 3D10 + 5 to determine the radius from the desired target in which the arrow could land in meters. On a direct hit to any surface, creature, or player character, the target is instantly vaporized. A non-direct hit within 10 meters causes 2d100 damage. Any creatures beyond 10 meters from impact must make a dexterity save with a DC of 15 if standing, a strength check with a DC of 13 if grappled, prone, or otherwise hindered. If any checks to attempt to escape the vortex are failed, the creature makes one final dexterity save with a DC of 20 which, if passed, allows the creature to make another dex or strength check to escape, and if failed, the creature is sucked into the vortex, transporting them to a random point within the astral planes.
