You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Your attacks with Lorecutter deal an additional 1d8 psychic damage
Secrets of the Past: When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can expend one use of your bardic inspiration die to learn of any and all vulnerabilities, resistances, and immunities that the creature possesses.
Swords Dance: Lorecutter has officially chosen you as its master, and follows your commands with a greater degree of grace and precision. While attuned to Lorecutter, you can use your charisma modifier in place of your dexterity or strength modifier for weapon attack and damage rolls.
Whispers from the Past: As a bonus action, you can call upon the memory of one of Lorecutter’s past owners and summon an elfshadow. The elfshadow appears in a spot you can see within 30 feet, and it shares statistics with a shadow except that it is neutral, immune to effects that turn undead, and has no sunlight weakness. The shadow acts on your turn in initiative and follows your verbal commands to the best of its ability (no action required by you). You can only summon an elfshadow provided that you are not controlling one already.
Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
