Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a warlock, wizard, sorcerer, or bard.)
This amulet is fashioned from interwoven shards of extraplanar material originating from the Abyss, the Feywild, Baator, the elemental planes, and Shadowfell. While you are wearing it, you gain the following benefits:
- You can use the amulet as a spellcasting focus for your spells.
- You cannot be charmed, frightened, or possessed by aberrations, celestials, elementals, fey, fiends, and undead.
- With a standard action, you can clutch the amulet. It grows cold when fey or undead are within 30 feet, warm with fiends and celestials, and vibrates near aberrations and elementals. It does not reveal their location.
- You can brandish the amulet and attempt to cast Dispel Evil and Good with a DC 15 Intelligence (Arcana) check or DC 15 Charisma (Intimidation). If the check succeeds, you cast the spell. If the check fails, so does the spell, and the action used to cast the spell is wasted. In either case, you can’t use this property again until you finish a long rest.
- If you successfully dismiss a creature using the Dispel Evil and Good, you must make a DC 15 CHA save to avoid taking 2d8 psychic damage.
- You can sacrifice yourself to cast Divine Word. When you do so, make a DC 20 CHA save, if you succeed you are dead, if you fail you are disintegrated. All creatures within a 15 ft radius take 10d6 radiant damage, DC 20 DEX save for half.
Notes: Immunity: Charmed, Immunity: Frightened, warlock, wizard, sorcerer, or bard.
