Aurum Pugnus

A square-faced, gold-inlayed hand-hammer with a pointed crows beak on the back. The tapered shaft is metal reinforced with an octagonal cross-section and red leather wrapped around the handle.

This weapon may deal either bludgeoning or piercing damage, choose before each individual weapon attack.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. If Aurum Pugnus deals damage to a target, you may add an additional  +1 to the attack and damage of your next attack against the same target. This ability stacks until you have a +10 bonus where it then remains at +10 for future attacks. The bonuses reset to the standard +1 if you attack and fail to wound the target or if you attack a different target.

Proficiency with a Warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
