Arator's Jeweled Scarab

A jewel-encrusted Scarab Beetle created by Arator Barbtank, otherwise known as The Artificer. When picked up, the Scarab attaches itself to the chest of the user and beats in rhythm with their heart. Casts a boosted flaming sphere (DM's discretion on level) when the user drops to 0 hitpoints. Before the spell is cast, the user is protected by the jeweled shell, bringing them back up to 1 hitpoint after the spell is finished.
