What happens if someone sneaks up and attacks the wizard? Usually that wizard falls unconscious. One particularly enterprising young wizard came up with a way to protect his unconscious body when this unfortunate circumstance happens.
When attuned to this amethyst you can magically bind it to the hilt of a dagger. When bound in this way, should the bearer become unconscious due to reaching 0hp, the weapon will animate and replicate into 4 rotating daggers that hover over your unconscious form. Should a creature begin its turn or enter the 5ft space around your body, they must succeed on a dc 13 dexterity save or take 4d4 piercing damage.
Should the bearer die, the weapon shatters and falls to the ground, appearing to be nothing more than a broken bladed fancy dagger.
