Weapon (mace), rare (requires attunement by a cleric of the Church of Ilmater)

A heavy one-handed Iron Mace with a somewhat ornate handle. The imagery of the Church of Ilmater is visible on the pommel of the weapon.

The mace contains a small reservoir able to contain 3 flasks worth of holy water inside of it.

By using a bonus action to press the button located on the pommel of the weapon, you open perforations in the head of the mace that allow the holy water to leak out. You can close the perforations again by using another bonus action. When a melee weapon attack is made with the perforations open, holy water will spray forth from the head onto the target of the attack. If the target is a fiend or undead, it will take an additional 2d6 radiant damage on a successful melee attack or half as much on a failed attack. One melee attack consumes 1 flasks worth of holy water while the perforations are open.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Proficiency with a Mace allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
