This palm-sized ceramic amulet is hexagon-shaped, and adorned with a halo of enameled gold, and silver wings. It can be worn around the neck like a pendant, or used as a pin to secure a cloak around the wearer’s shoulders.
An aegis of recovery grants its wearer advantage on all saving throws made to recover from a continuing effect, such as ongoing poison damage, daily saving throws against disease, a hold person spell, or lingering damage from an attack. This bonus does not help against initial saving throws against such effects.
Should the wearer ever drop below 0 hit points, the grants the wearer Advantage on Death Saving Throws.
Additionally, it may be used as a material component for restorative magics such as revivify, raise dead, and resurrection; but the Aegis is consumed in the process.
