This plate armor is painted a sleek sliver and is covered in Dwarvish runes, which are painted gold. As an action, the wearer can utter the command word, shift, to instantly shift to any Plane of Existence. The armor must be donned in order to perform the shift. The wearer may choose which plane to shift to, and can stay there for 1 hour. The wearer may choose to end the command early, and cannot shift to multiple planes over the 1 hour span. Once 1 hour has passed or the command has been dispelled, the wearer instantly returns to the plane which they uttered the command, and cannot perform the shift again until they have taken a long rest.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
