Amulet of Harm

This green emerald necklace hangs on a thin golden chain, and seems to occasionally swirl with the face of a beautiful woman.

When attuned, this necklace adds a +2 bonus to Constitution.

[NOT TO BE REVEALVED TO ANYONE EXCEPT THE PLAYER WEARING IT] This necklace is a cursed item, and when attuned, the wearer is compelled to choose the most violent option in any situation that has multiple options. If the player is strong of will, they may resist this temptation with a wisdom check, at the discretion of the DM. Every time they fail this check, they must mark off a point of corruption - if the wearer reaches 10 points of corruption, their soul is swapped by the devil residing in the gem, leaving them trapped inside the gem while the devil takes possession of their body. If the soul is not released from the gem within three days, then the devil is released from the body and takes the soul to the City of Dis in the Nine Hells. The soul and body can then only be reunited by taking the body to the Nine Hells, and retrieving the soul from the devil who has it.
