Armor (half plate), very rare (requires attunement)

This suit of dragonhide armor is reinforced with adamantine, one of the hardest substances in existence. You can maintain the hardness and protection of a normal plate armor set for half its weight, it's masterfully crafted to allow the wearer freedom of movement.

This suit of armor is classified as medium armor in terms of weight and practicality however it covers the wearer's body just like a full set of plate armor would.

While you're attuned to it, any critical hit against you is halved, however, the armor can get damaged. If the half portion of the critical hit's damage that was ignored is above 20, the AC of the armor is reduced by 1. If the AC of the armor gets under 12 due to this effect and this effect only, it is considered permanently damaged and cannot be repaired by conventional means be it by magic or a blacksmith, losing all its magical effects.

The armor has the ability to regenerate 1 AC/Week. (Cantrips and Spells such as Mending accelerate the regeneration process' speed (1 AC/2h), requiring the caster's concentration for the duration; If you have dragonhide of any kind and adamantine, a Master Blacksmith can also fully recover the armor within an hour of work, spending a portion of the materials used. (DM's discretion.) 

You have resistance to one damage type that is determined by the kind of a dragon that provided the scales. (Only applicable if the armor's AC is above 16)

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
