The Mirrored Cubic Gate Face can be attached to a Cubic Gate Core as part of the assembly of a customized Cubic Gate. Only the most talented of arcanists, astral travelers, and artificers are capable of constructing such a device, and the magical item does not begin to function until all six faces have been keyed and assembled.

While the Mirrored Cubic Gate Face shows a mirrored surface, it can be attuned to a plane of the bearer's choosing by touching a forked metal rod attuned to the plane to its surface. Once this is done, the mirrored surface turns black and rough and the attuned plane of the Cubic Gate Face cannot be changed. A customized Cubic Gate cannot contain any more than one Mirrored Cubic Gate Face, whether or not it is attuned.
