This arrow has a large bulbous head, that is warm to the touch. The arrow is weighted heavily at the front. When the arrow is released from a bow, it turns into a small bead of red energy that flies towards the target location. once it reaches the location it blossoms with a low roar into an explosion of flame. Every creature in a 20-foot radius sphere centred on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw (save DC 12). A target takes 6d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The fire spreads around corners. It ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
The arrow is difficult to wield due to it's weight and shape, as such the arrow only has a maximum range of 80 feet, regardless of what type of bow is used to fire it. There is no falloff range to your bow when using this arrow as ammunition. The arrow is used when fired from a bow and cannot be recovered.
