This box starts off as a 1 inch by 1 inch box, placing it next to a dead body will cause the box to morph until it resembles a coffin perfectly matching the dead creature next to it. The next obvious thing to do is to place the creature inside the box, after doing so the box closes up and can't be opened again as if by magic. The dead creature inside the box is now alive, they are also dead at the same time though. Like that Cat from physics class. So you're just going to have to take my word for it that they are alive while within the box, but there's no way to know that without opening the unopenable coffin. I don't even know why you would use this in the first place.
