The spawn of hell on earth. A weapon of destruction and chaos, Apocalypse cannot be wielded by characters of “Good” or “Lawful” alignment. Found near magmatic geysers within the underdark, it can only be speculated that Apocalypse was created by an entity of pure evil to be found and unleashed on the over world. To hold the weapon, the user must have natural armor, or be wearing armored gauntlets to protect against the heat given off otherwise they take 1d6 fire damage at the beginning of their turn.
+3 Greataxe (Two-handed, heavy weapon)
Lava Hot: the user may use an activation word of their choosing to envelop the edge in molten lava. Upon successful melee attacks, Apocalypse does an additional 2d6 fire damage
Eruption: Once per long rest, you may expend a charge from Apocalypse to cast Molten Upheaval (2.0) in the 9th level. You regain the charge at the end of a long rest.
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: Damage: Fire, Bonus: Magic, Combat, Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
