Weapon (dagger), very rare (requires attunement)

A jet black obsidian scabbard bedazzled with a series of impressive looking jewels, contains the hilt of dagger. You have a +5 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon... if you can convince it to come out of its cozy home.

The dagger has some form of curse or sentience and is terrified of the dangers of the outside world, meaning anything and everything outside of its cozy sheathe.

As part of the attack action made to use this dagger, you must make a persuasion check DC 20 (DC is set at DMs discretion) - at disadvantage - to convince the dagger to come out from its sheathe. If you fail, it releases an eardrum rending scream when you attempt to force it out. Causing the creature that attempted to draw it from its sheathe to take 1d4 of psychic damage and gain the deafened condition for 1 minute; and the attack fails and misses automatically.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
