While wearing this ring you are able to able to retroactively plan for the present. You know the Flashback spell, and can cast it at a cost of one charge per spell level. This ring has a total of five charges, regaining d3 charges each dawn.

Posted Mar 21, 2021The idea behind this ring (the spell it grants and the related feat) is to enable Blades in the Dark style retroactive planning for break-ins, heists etc. Instead of wasting a tonne of time on planning, only for everything to go horribly wrong anyway, you can come up with a basic plan for entry then retroactively remember to buy an item, setup an escape route etc.
