Superficially resembling an ordinary short sword, this weapon has a hatch on the pommel and two etched grooves on either side of the blade. Opening the hatch reveals a space capable of holding a flask's worth of material. As an action, the wielder of the blade may empty a flask of Alchemist's Fire (flask) into the handle, this primes the blade. Once primed, on a hit, the target takes 1d4 fire damage at the start of each of its turns. A creature can end this damage by using its action to make a DC 10 Dexterity check to extinguish the flames.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
