Ancient totem

A totem from a long forgotten race, it is a small piece of wood with foreign engravings on it. Upon picking it up it melds with the skin permanently removing one hit point. The totem can't be removed without the host being killed and upon being killed the uses reset and it separates from the body. After the totem has been picked up during combat the player may permanently sacrifice 5 hit points to double the damage of their attack roles. After the 3 uses the totem separates from the body before coming inert and useless.
