While you wear this long draping mantle, you can spend an action to will yourself off the ground, gently hovering several inches above whatever surface you are on. You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed, but can fly no higher than 5 feet off the ground from this effect. If your walking speed is less than 30 feet, then your flying speed from this effect is 30. This flying speed is not reduced if you are encumbered or wearing heavy armor. Difficult terrain from magical effects can hinder this movement as though you were walking. While you are 5 feet or lower to the ground while this effect is active, the mantle seems to extend so that its end is always straight and nearly touching the ground. The mantle's effect lasts indefinitely, unless you are incapacitated, remove the robe, or choose to end the effect (no action required).
Zur Nabal Aradace is a student of the arcane and a practitioner of dunamancy. Wishing to match form to function, Zur implemented his knowledge of graviturgy into this fine silk mantle to overcome his otherwise obvious weaknesses. It was designed with the maker's frailty in mind, as it masquerades one's movement should they be awkward in gait, size, or stature.
