The Bytopia Cubic Gate Face can be attached to a Cubic Gate Core as part of the assembly of a customized Cubic Gate. Only the most talented of arcanists, astral travelers, and artificers are capable of constructing such a device, and the magical item does not begin to function until all six faces have been keyed and assembled.

A customized Cubic Gate cannot contain any more than one Bytopia Cubic Gate Face. When activated, a Cubic Gate with this face can access either Dothion or Shurrak, the twin planes of Bytopia. Which half of the plane it opens onto is randomly determined each time the Cubic Gate is activated for this face.
