The amulet depicts an androgynous face, screaming in anger. It grants the wearer the ability to cast Shocking Grasp, as a melee spell attack, or a ranged spell attack with a range of 30 feet. Casting time is one action, components are verbal and somatic. This spell does not use a spell slot, but the amulet can only be used once per long rest. You may cast Shocking Grasp as a spell, not a cantrip, at the highest spell slot available to you based on your class/level (For example, a 1st-level Sorcerer could cast this spell at 1st-level, but a 5th-level Wizard could cast this spell at 3rd-level). At 1st level, the spell deals 1d8 lightning damage. Add 1d8 per level when you cast this at higher levels (a 3rd-level casting would use 3d8).
Notes: Only devout followers of Kord may use this amulet. Attunement requires the practicing of a 12-hour fast and 12-hour ritual, known only to scholars or priests of Kord.
