You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, while you are attuned to this weapon, your hit point maximum increases by 1 for each level you have attained.
Spender's Curse. This shotgun is cursed, and becoming attuned to it extends the curse to you. As long as you remain cursed, you are unwilling to part with the shotty, keeping it within reach at all times. You also have disadvantage on attack rolls with ranged weapons other than this one, unless no foe is within 60 feet of you that you can see or hear. While this curse exists, you are required to maintain at least a Wealthy (As described in chapter 5 of the PHB) lifestyle.
Sus Destroyer. While in combat insight checks are no longer considered an action. You can do one insight check per turn for free, and if you succeed and discover the target is lying, you deal an additional 1d6 lightning damage against that target on your first successful strike with this weapon on this turn.
I'm Rich, *****. Equipping this item immediately transforms your outfit into the drippiest of the drip. In addition, you gain advantage on any Deception, Intimidation, and Persuasion that involve you flaunting your swag or wealth.
It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
