Weapon (greataxe), varies

Whistling Hammer is primarily used by elven militias and some rangers. The weapon is polymorphic in nature assuming the form that best suits the user's needs. Its basis for changing is that of an inventory stored in the astral plane. Generally, it contains elven runes with certain command words. Each command word causes the weapon to assume a different form with a starting set usually being a longbow, greataxe/greatsword, and scimitar.

The weapon gives a +1 to hit whenever used and does an additional 1D4 damage

A natural 1 will cause the weapon to lose its polymorphic nature temporarily and it will turn into a black-tar like goo that prevents the user from acting until next turn as it reassumes its original form. The weapon it had temporarily assumed is destroyed in the astral inventory and cannot be accessed again.

A natural 20 or 19 concentrates the power consumed by the three separate weapons into the weapon being used. A bright light erupts from arrow/blade/axe that forces all those in front of the user to make a saving throw or be blinded for a round. In addition, the blow itself does an extra 6D6 damage and has a 80% chance of knocking back humanoids up to 20 feet as well as a 10% chance of knocking large/gargantuan creatures prone;.

Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Ranged Weapon Attack: Piercing, Melee Weapon Attack: Bludgeoning, Damage: Piercing, Melee Weapon Attack: Bludgeoning, Stunned, Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
