Armor (plate), artifact (requires attunement by a You attune to this item the first time the Blood Frenzy is activated.)

Centuries ago, a powerful warrior sought to create his own nation. Leading an army the likes none had seen before, the warrior brought many lands under their banner. Little did the warrior know that one of the mages plotted to seize control. After overcoming the hardest fight over a rival land, the mage struck. The warrior proved more difficult than the mage had expected however, powering through attacks that would have killed a lesser being through sheer rage, and had to resort to dark magics. Summoning the powers of evil, the mage imprisoned the warriors soul in their armor. The warrior could only watch in horror as all the work done to build a new nation, crumbled under the mages lust for power eventually sacrificing every man, woman and child to ascend to Lichdom. Over the centuries the anger only festered and deepened. As more people found the armor, the warrior found that they could possess the wearer if the conditions were right. The more who fell in battle while wearing the armor, the stronger the warriors spirit became, fueling their desire to snuff out the mage that robbed them of their destiny.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
