A small flintlock gun that has intricate carvings of a kraken on the side. They seem to glow with energy when the gun is fired using it's alternative fire mode.
The pistol can be fired normally shooting a 1D10 piecing iron ball with a 60ft range.
Alternatively the pistol can be used with a charge as a tentacle lash to grapple surfaces using acrobatics, or to whip a target within 15ft for 1D4 Slashing. A whipped target may be grappled using acrobatics as a bonus action. A grappled target is considered Restrained, and can be pulled within 5ft of the wielder.
The pistol has 3 charges that are reset on a long rest. It requires a loading action and a fire action.
You can use a reaction with a DC 10 Slight of Hand check to reload in place of the reload action. This can only be attempted once per round.
Proficiency with a Pistol allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
