Similar in appearance to Gauntlets of Ogre Power, the Artificer's Gauntlets work in conjunction with the Armor of Tools infusion to create a synergistic pairing that allows the artificer to us the infused tool while carrying a one-handed weapon in their dominant hand and another object, such as a shield, in their off hand. The Gauntlets do not work with two-handed weapons, unless they have the versatile property.
The tool is infused into the main body of the armor. As a bonus action, the Artificer can speak the command word, and prehensile extensions will extend from the back of the dominant hand, even if the hand is full. The extensions are an extension of the infused tool, which allows the wearer use the infused tool and gain the benefits of the Armor to Tools infusion while both hands are full. The extensions act as if they are a part of the wearer's body and, as such, use the player's dexterity modifiers as if they were using their bare hand.
The extensions can be retracted as a free action.
Notes: Requires Attunement , An Artificer wearing both the gauntlets and armor to be infused. The Artificer attunes to the gauntlets which, in turn, attune to the armor., Buff, Handwear, Artificer
