As part of a ranged attack with this weapon you can choose to make a called shot. Roll a d6 and add it to your attack. You can choose to make this roll before or after your attack roll, but before you know whether the attack hits or misses. Once used, this effect cannot be used again until after a short or long rest.
Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
