While holding this shield, you gain a +2 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield’s normal bonus to AC.
Once per day, as part of a ritual taking ten minutes, you may fill the dished interior of the shield with clear water to catch a brief glimpse of the future. Roll two d20s and record the numbers rolled. You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with these foretelling rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn. Each foretelling roll can be used only once. When you finish a long rest, you lose any unused foretelling rolls.
Additionally, the shield has 3 charges, and it regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. You may, as a bonus action, attempt to shove a creature within your reach 10 feet away. If you succeed, you may expend 1 charge to emit a burst of thunderous sound that deals 4d8 thunder damage and pushes the creature an additional 10 feet or knocks it prone.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
