This Ruby is medium sized, but very finely shaped and cut into a faceted oval that fits into the palm of a Dwarf. It hums with magical energy, having been removed from a barrow tomb of a legendary Dwarven Ruler. If the finder is a magic user they might become aware of this energy while touching the stone.
A Dwarf gain +2 to armor class while carrying the gem.
If underground, a non-Dwarf holder gains a +1 bonus to Armor Class. Above ground this affect does not function.
The cut stone is worth approximately 200GP if found by a non-magic user who doesn't recognize its hidden power.
