This two-tined metal fork measures about 1 foot long and weighs 1 pound, including the brilliant blue sapphire (1,000gp) mounted between its tines.
The Attuning Fork has one charge per day. To use this charge, spend an Action to strike the Attuning Fork, & point it at a Magic Item within 20 feet of you which has an Attunement feature. The fork issues a clear dual tone each time it is used.
- If you are currently Attuned to the Magic Item, the fork takes on the resonant pattern of your attunement to that item.
- If the fork already matches this pattern, resounding waves of force pulse through you, immediately restoring your previous Attunement to the Magic Item. Make a Con saving throw or take Force damage based on the table below:

- Whenever a new resonant pattern is taken on, all previous patterns are lost.
- If the fork's pattern does not match a targeted item, & you are not currently Attuned to that item, the fork issues a clear tone, one charge is expended, & nothing else happens.
The Attuning Fork has one charge, which recharges each day at dawn.
This item does not require Attunement.
Notes: daily, restores Attunement, 1 Action, Con save: Force dmg, Damage, Utility
