Aperture of True Sight

A Sterling Silver ring of runic inscriptions encircles the black metal leaves of the aperture, when the circle is rotated it changes the dilatation of the internal aperture and gives the user a preternatural way to see. Depending on the dilatation of the black metal leaves the user may be able to use the device to see what is invisible, to see into a realm beyond the material, or even to see the strands of the arcane weave that flow through the multiverse.     

When the aperture is held up to a creature's eye, you expend 1 charge and the creature has Truesight for as long as the Item is held there. With this Item a creature can, to a range of 120 Feet, see in normal and magical darkness, see invisible creatures and objects, automatically detect visual illusions and succeed on saving throws against them, and perceive the original form of a shapechanger or a creature that is transformed by magic. The creature can see into the Ethereal Plane.
