Wondrous Item, uncommon

An Artificers Backpack containing a variety of random junk and miscellaneous objects. While its contents are completely worthless even to the most desperate thrift store owner, they are more valuable than gold to an Artificer. Being able to use the base components of these items to be transmuted into Wonderous items of both mundane and magical variety.

Containing an initial maximum capacity of 40 items. An Artificer can use this to streamline any boring and overly complicated shopping or scavenging trips to use the contents of this backpack as the material components for any crafting based idea. Serving as a mostly a narrative tool to just 'get along with the story', the DM would decide how complex the item is components wise. Then request the Artificer to roll one or more Die, from a D4 to a D20, to determine how many components from the Artificers backpack creating this new item would require. (EX: A single pair of sunglasses may require a D4, a regular clock may require a D10, while an alarm clock may require a D20.)

Random junk may be purchased at the DMs discretion. Though Scavenging for parts is the primary way of restocking the backpack. An Artificer may do an Investigation Roll in a room or area (be wary of stealing, some people may take that poorly). Depending on the roll, and how cluttered the area in question may be, the DM would decide what Die would constitute how much junk there is the potential to be found. Depending on the roll of the chosen Die, the Artificer may add that number of junk items into the bag.

The Bag itself is purely a mundane item, just a simple bag, filled with random objects.
