Absorption Doll

The doll appears as a normal stitch doll, once attuned it resembles the form of the creature it is attuned to.

Cursed. This item saps health from the creature it is attuned to. Every time you complete a long rest, your hit point maximum is reduced by 1. There is no way to gain these back unless you are targeted by a remove curse, heal, or greater restoration spell. In which case the attunement ends and your hit point maximum is restored to normal.

This item has 25 hit points. When you are attuned and hit by an attack, you can choose to transfer the damage to the doll. If the doll hits 0 hit points and there is still damage left over, it carries over to you.

The doll regains all of it's hit points after a long rest.
