This aged magnifying glass consists of two piece of convex shaped glass lenses and works in two ways and on command as so:

a) One of the lenses will be as a conventional magnifying glass to view small objects more clearly, it has to be held at the right distance between the eye and the object for the object to be in focus.

b) On command the second lense will activate and can be used to detect any magical objects, any objects that appear to be magical will be seen to have a green aura about them through the glass lense.
