The ring is an exquisitely crafted band made of adamantine, inlaid with an immobile chain of mithral that sits perfectly flush within a groove that encircles the ring. Archaic runes are etched into the inner band of the ring.
The ring's enchantment creates an antimagic field within the inner diameter of the ring. Any magical effect that passes through the ring is dispelled. If a creature willingly wears the ring, it becomes incapable of casting spells or creating magical effects that require a somatic component while the ring is worn.
Curse. The ring is cursed and cannot be removed if a creature willingly dons the ring. Due to the nature of the enchantment the ring resists the Identify, Dispel Magic, and Remove Curse spells requiring a DC 25 Arcana check by the caster using their spellcasting ability modifier in place of Intelligence to determine the total of the roll. The ring may also be removed if the finger it is on is severed from the wearer's body, though due to the lingering effect of the spell the finger cannot be reattached or regenerated via non-mundane means for 1D10 days.
